Smart energy – intelligent power supply
A smart grid delivers electricity from suppliers to consumers using two-way digital technology. This controls appliances at the end-user point by incorporating an intelligent monitoring system that keeps track of all electricity flowing into the system. It also uses superconductive transmission lines, reducing the amount of power loss and wastage. Smart energy grids also allow for the incorporation of renewable energy sources into the grid system.
